Morning Prayer: June 13th

O God, how easily we are carried away down paths that are not of you. We listen to “logic” and find ourselves relying on untrustworthy voices.

How easily we justify the course of action that we desire. By turning away from your wisdom, we give ourselves to that which is unworthy. Your love is our only  true source of strength. Help us to allow you to bring fullness of life into us and into the world. Be my guide this new day that I might choose truth and not waste the beauty of this day. I pray this in the matchless name of Jesus. Amen.
