Dear God, I awaken this morning comforted by the knowledge that I know in whom I believe. Thank you for caring enough about me to allow me to be one of your children. If I had been left to my own devices, I would have self-destructed. You rocked the foundations of my foolishness and brought me into a right relationship with you. You freed me from a prison of self, and freed me to live in relationship with you. God, I thank you for caring so much about me. Help me to share the power of your salvation and love with others whom I may encounter this day. Guide the steps of my day that my life may bring glory and honor to you. In the matchless name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
