Morning Prayer: November 20th

Almighty God: As the sun breaks forth over the horizon to warm the earth and bath it in light, I am thankful that you bath me in your amazing grace this day. I thank you for the gift of this day and I ask that as I prepare to face this day, that you would forgive me of my sins and prepare my heart to receive the blessing that you have in store for me. I pray that in this stillness of this moment, you would speak to me through prayer, the Word and that your spirit would move in such a powerful way that my heart would be renewed and transformed. 

Father, as I move through this day, I pray that you would help me to be the image of your Son on this earth. Where there is discord, help me to sow seeds of peace. Where there is despair, may I be the embodiment of the gospel and show hope. Where there is loneliness, may I extend a hand of fellowship that drives the darkness away.

This is the day you have made, may I rejoice and be glad in it and may I live faithfully for you. 

In the blessed name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
