Evening Prayer: April 2nd

Holy God, I have been sustained today by knowing you are near. For you, O God, have been with me and helped me this day. Praise be to you. If I have been silent rather than vocal in the face of insults against the Christian way of life, forgive me. Gracious God, help me to be a better steward of your gifts tomorrow. May my resolve to grow in my faith in You increase each day I live. Remember those who are walking through the trials and sufferings of life. Especially, we ask, that you would bring courage, strength and encouragement to those who are battling cancer, as well as their families. Grant us your peace as we go to our rest this night. Shield us from the hand of your Enemy. In our rest, come, Lord Jesus, come. Amen.
