Morning Prayer: May 23rd

O God, renew in me this morning a sense of your purpose for my life and for this day. I don’t want to waste a minute of the life you have given me.

Help me to know that I have new life only because you have already forgiven my sins. Make me clean. I pray that I may live to do your will in the world in which I find myself a part. I ask that you would give me the wisdom and discernment to journey this life of faith today in a manner that glorifies you and you alone. Give me to know the freedom and life that comes through your blessed Son, Jesus, in whose name I now pray. Amen.
