From The Early Church Fathers

“If you see your neighbor in sin, don’t look only at this, but also think about what he has done or does that is good, and infrequently trying this in general, while not partially judging, you will find that he is better than you.”

From St. Basil the Great

Morning Prayer: May 25th

Merciful God, I approach this new day hoping to do what is good and acceptable in your sight. The world is very demanding.

How easy it is to be conformed to the world, rather than transformed by your will. I ask this day that you would give me the wisdom and discernment to know the difference and that you would give me the strength and courage to always choose your will. I offer all that I am and all that I have to you this day, hoping that you may be glorified in all I say and do this day. Thank you, Lord. In the matchless name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
