God, I come to this night offering my whole being in praise for this day that you have given me. The day ends but my praise to You will never cease. I will sing to Your glory. I will lift my hands in praise. I will join others in praise and tell of Your goodness. Surround me with your angels this night, give me rest, renew in me a right spirit that I may awake ready to worship you in spirit and in truth tomorrow. In the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
Almighty God, give us grace to cast away the works of darkness, and put on the armor of light, now in the time of this mortal life in which your Son Jesus Christ came to visit us in great humility; that in the last day, when he shall come again in his glorious majesty to judge both the living and the dead, we may rise to the life immortal; through him who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
the Maker of heaven and earth,
