Creator God, I thank you for the creation of this day that I have traveled through. I know that you have been with me and I know that you are the One that has encouraged me when I was down, lifted me when I was weak, and guided me so that I would not lose my way.
I thank you for the sunrise and the sunset. I thank you for allowing me to be a Light in the midst of darkness. I thank you for using me this day for your glory and Name’s sake.
Now as the sun sets beneath the Western skyline, I ask that you would bless me with rest. Renew within me a right Spirit and hold me tight. Be with my family and friends, and place a hedge around them that no scheme of the Enemy can break through. Guard our hearts that we will always honor and keep Your ways as ours.
Now, visit this place, O Lord, and drive far from it all snares of the enemy, let your holy angels dwell with us to preserve us in peace; and let your blessing be upon us always. Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
